Explosion-proof xenon strobe light

The explosion-proof Ex d xenon strobe light offers impressive performance and maximum safety in demanding industrial environments. With an energy output of 5 joules, it generates an intense xenon flash for reliable visual signalling.

The robust, corrosion-resistant housing made of LM6 aluminium (marine grade) with an IP66 rating is suitable for use in Class I/II Division 1 and Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 hazardous areas. The luminaire is approved for fire alarm applications in accordance with EN54-23, UL1638 and CAN/ULC S526, as well as being CPR-compliant (EU & UK) and UL Marine certified.

A field-replaceable, UV-stable polycarbonate colour filter optimises the strobe performance. Four selectable strobe rates (1 Hz, 1.3 Hz, 1.5 Hz and double flash), as well as automatic synchronisation in multi-unit installations, enable flexible applications.

The housing features a threaded flame path and four cable entries. Various mounting options, such as surface-mounted, suspended or bracket-mounted installation, ensure easy installation. A protective grille made of A4 (316) stainless steel is fitted as standard.
