The Xshielder iPhone 17 with ATEX-certified flameproof case is a modern, explosion-proof smartphone for professional use in ATEX Zone 1/21 (gas & dust). It combines the latest Apple iPhone technology with a particularly light and slim protective case from Xshielder, enabling safe working in potentially explosive areas without technological restrictions.

The specially developed ATEX protective housing with removable cover (ATEX-only version) offers reliable explosion protection while remaining highly suitable for everyday use. The device may only be opened by authorised Xshielder personnel and meets the relevant requirements of EN IEC 60079.

Thanks to its low weight of only 330 g and compact design, the Xshielder iPhone 17 is currently the lightest and slimmest solution for ATEX Zone 1, ideal for mobile workplaces in industry, chemicals, energy, oil & gas and process plants.

The device runs on the iOS operating system based on the Apple iPhone 17 and features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display for brilliant, high-contrast viewing. The integrated 48 MP dual fusion camera enables detailed shots and supports a 2x optical zoom.

The powerful battery with 3,692 mAh ensures reliable runtime during everyday work and can be conveniently charged via wireless fast charging with up to 25 W. Communication takes place via eSIM, and a physical SIM card can be integrated by Xshielder on request.

With protection class IP65 (pending testing), the device is protected against dust and splash water. Its compact dimensions of 170.5 × 83.3 × 16.1 mm and a weight of only 330 g make it particularly handy. In addition, the device has a 1/4″ tripod thread for secure mounting in industrial applications.
