The Xshielder iPhone 17 with ATEX and IECEx certified flameproof case is a modern, high-performance smartphone for safe use in potentially explosive atmospheres in Zone 1/21 (gas & dust) dust). It combines the latest Apple technology with a patented, flameproof protective case, offering maximum safety and ease of use.

The model offered here is the ATEX+IECEx version with cemented lid. This version is specially designed for international use and offers maximum certification security. The enclosure may only be opened by authorised Xshielder personnel.

Weighing only 330 g and featuring a particularly slim design, the Xshielder iPhone 17 is currently the lightest and most compact solution for ATEX/IECEx Zone 1. This makes it ideal for mobile applications in oil & gas, chemicals, energy, process industries and maintenance.

The device is based on the Apple iPhone 17 with iOS and features a brilliant 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display for clear and high-contrast viewing. The integrated 48 MP dual fusion camera with 2x optical zoom enables detailed photo and documentation shots in industrial applications.

The powerful battery with 3,692 mAh ensures reliable runtime in everyday work and supports wireless fast charging with up to 25 W. Communication is standardised via eSIM, and a physical SIM card can be optionally integrated by Xshielder.

With protection class IP65 (pending testing), the device is protected against dust and splash water. Its compact dimensions of 170.5 × 83.3 × 16.1 mm and low weight of only 330 g ensure comfortable handling. In addition, the integrated 1/4″ tripod thread enables secure mounting in a variety of industrial applications.
