WatchGas PDM SO₂

The WatchGas PDM SO₂ is a compact, maintenance-free disposable gas detector for reliable detection of sulphur dioxide (SO₂) in ambient air. Sulphur dioxide occurs in refineries, the paper and pulp industry, exhaust gas cleaning processes, chemical plants and combustion processes, among other places, where it poses a significant health risk.

Once activated, the device operates for up to two years without maintenance, without the need for calibration or battery replacement. The large, high-contrast display clearly shows the current measured values, the device status and the remaining device life.

If the preset SO₂ limits are exceeded, the WatchGas PDM SO₂ reliably warns the user via visual warning signals, an acoustic alarm with a minimum volume of 95 dB and vibration. This ensures that warnings are clearly audible even in noisy or poorly visible working environments. The device complies with protection class IP67, meaning it is dustproof and protected against temporary submersion.

Thanks to its compact design and integrated clip attachment, the gas detector can be worn securely on clothing or a belt. The scope of delivery includes the WatchGas PDM SO₂ gas detector, a calibration adapter and the user manual, so that the device is ready for immediate use.
