WatchGas PDM O₂

The WatchGas PDM O₂ is a compact, maintenance-free disposable gas detector for reliable monitoring of the oxygen content (O₂) in the ambient air. It was developed for personal occupational safety and is particularly suitable for use in industry, energy supply, chemicals, sewage treatment plants and confined spaces where oxygen displacement can occur.

Unlike many other O₂ measuring devices, the WatchGas PDM O₂ detects both oxygen deficiency and oxygen excess. It reliably warns of dangerous concentrations below 19.5 vol.% or above 23.5 vol.%, with adjustable alarm limits. The typical measuring range is 0–30 vol.% O₂.

Once activated, the device operates for up to two years without maintenance, without the need for calibration or battery replacement. In critical situations, a clear warning is given via visual signals, an acoustic alarm with a minimum volume of 95 dB and vibration. The large display clearly shows the current oxygen value and the remaining device life.

The WatchGas PDM O₂ complies with protection class IP67, meaning it is dustproof and protected against temporary submersion. Thanks to its clip attachment, the device can be worn securely on clothing or a belt. The scope of delivery includes the WatchGas PDM O₂ gas detector, a calibration adapter and the user manual, so that the device is ready for immediate use.
