QGM-IR multi-gas warning device with O2 sensor

The QGM-IR multi-gas detector is a reliable solution for monitoring oxygen concentration (O₂) and the lower explosive limit (LEL) using an infrared sensor (IR). It has been specially developed for safe use in Ex Zone 0 and is therefore suitable for areas where explosive atmospheres may occur permanently or frequently.

The device measures O₂ in the range of 0–30 vol.% and combustible gases from 0–100% LEL via the IR sensor. This sensor is low-maintenance, as no pellistor is required, and offers high measurement stability. A special feature of the IR sensor is that it does not detect hydrogen or acetylene, but is ideal for hydrocarbon vapours and other combustible gases.

Thanks to visual, audible and vibration alarms, users are reliably and clearly warned of dangerous gas concentrations. The compact, robust and portable design makes the QGM-IR ideal for professional use in industry, chemistry, energy supply and other potentially explosive environments. The scope of delivery includes the QGM-IR multi-gas detector, a battery, a charger and a calibration cap, so that the device is ready for immediate use.
