The explosion-proof combined alarm horn and strobe light unit combines powerful acoustic and visual signalling in a compact, robust system. The D1xC1X05R is equipped with a 5-joule xenon strobe light and an omnidirectional horn, achieving a sound pressure level of up to 110 dB(A) for reliable warning signals in demanding industrial environments.

With 64 selectable alarm tones and 4 remotely controlled alarm levels or channels, the device can be flexibly adapted to a variety of applications. The integrated Class D amplification ensures high acoustic output whilst maintaining efficient energy consumption. Automatic synchronisation enables the simultaneous operation of multiple signal transmitters and flashing lights within a single system.

The robust, marine-grade aluminium housing (Type 4/4X, IP66/67) ensures optimum protection against corrosion, dust and water. The pressure-tight screw connection, multiple cable entries and the double, plug-in connector make installation and maintenance considerably easier.

The combined unit is certified and approved worldwide for use in Class I & II Division 1 and Zones 1, 2, 20, 21 and 22 (ATEX & IECEx). The 24 Vdc version also meets the requirements for public and private fire alarm applications in accordance with UL464, UL1638, and CAN/ULC-S525 and S526. Furthermore, the device is SIL1 & SIL2 compliant in accordance with IEC61508 (2010).
