313B Triggering static device

The 313B static discharge device is designed to disperse electrostatic charges from the human body in flammable and potentially explosive atmospheres. It ensures reliable equipotential bonding and prevents the formation of dangerous sparks – essential for safe operation in EX zones.

The device is available in two tried-and-tested material variants:

Aluminium-copper (AC) – lightweight, strong and electrically conductive
Beryllium copper (BC) – low-spark, largely anti-magnetic and particularly wear-resistant

Both versions are suitable for use in sensitive and potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX environments), e.g. in chemical plants, refineries, paint shops or laboratory environments.
