Explosion-proof alarm horn, Zone 1/21

The explosion-proof alarm horn provides reliable acoustic warning signals in potentially explosive atmospheres and demanding industrial environments. With a maximum sound pressure level of 115 dB(A), it delivers a clear and piercing alarm – even in noisy environments.

Equipped with 64 selectable alarm tones and 4 remotely controlled alarm levels or channels, the device can be flexibly adapted to a wide range of applications. Switching can be controlled either via positive or negative line control. Automatic synchronisation ensures that multiple signal transmitters within a system operate simultaneously.

The robust housing, made from marine-grade aluminium, and the adjustable stainless steel bracket (316) ensure high resistance to corrosion and mechanical stress. Triple cable entries, a pressure-resistant screw connection and a double-plug terminal significantly simplify installation and maintenance.

The 24 Vdc version complies with a wide range of international standards and approvals, including EN 54-3 (EU & UK CPR), UL 464 (NFPA) and CAN/ULC S525. In addition, the device is certified to IEC 61508 (2010) for SIL 1 & SIL 2 (Route 2H) and is optionally available with a diagnostic function for SIL 2 (Route 1H).

Ideal for use as a fire alarm and audible warning device in potentially explosive atmospheres, public buildings and industrial applications.
