The Motorola R7Ex IIC is a modern, ATEX-certified digital handheld radio designed for safe use in potentially explosive atmospheres. With a UHF frequency range (403–520 MHz), a full keypad (FKP) and a brilliant colour display, it offers powerful communication, intuitive operation and maximum reliability – ideal for the chemical, energy, oil & gas, industrial and emergency services sectors.

The ATEX IIC certification guarantees maximum safety in gas and dust atmospheres. The robust housing is rated to IP66 and IP68 – meaning the R7Ex IIC is dust-tight, protected against water jets and capable of temporary submersion. The clear colour display ensures excellent readability of status messages, text and menu items, whilst the full keyboard enables precise entry of channels, zones or short messages. The orange emergency call button allows for immediate alerting in an emergency – a crucial safety feature for hazardous areas.
