The IS440.2 is a powerful 5G radio for secure and uninterrupted push-to-talk-over-cellular (PoC) communication in ATEX Zone 2/22 hazardous areas. It supports public mobile networks as well as campus networks (4G/5G) and Wi-Fi®, and can be seamlessly integrated with existing radio and communication systems thanks to its gateway function. The device is equipped with a replaceable battery, large control buttons for PTT, SOS, and channel selection, a robust front speaker, an ISM interface, and a practical mounting clip, making it particularly user-friendly for everyday industrial use. The pre-installed App World gives users direct access to tested, device-specific applications such as push-to-talk and mobile device management (MDM) solutions, including convenient updates.
