309A Torque wrench

The 309A torque wrench has been specially developed for use in hazardous and potentially explosive atmospheres. It enables screws and nuts to be tightened precisely to a defined torque in the range of 5–900 Nm and ensures controlled, reproducible tightening – ideal for safety-critical applications.

The torque wrench combines spark protection with high mechanical strength:

  • Beryllium-copper (BC) outer casing – low-spark, largely anti-magnetic and corrosion-resistant
  • Inner core made of tool steel – high strength and long service life

This design ensures reliable operation in sensitive and potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX environments), where ignition sources must be avoided at all costs.
