The award-winning IntelliZone proximity protection system for mining has received ATEX certification and thus fulfills the EU requirements for explosion protection. This collision avoidance system for mining vehicles can now be used in potentially explosive environments - such as underground mines containing gas - within Europe. In addition to ATEX and CE, IntelliZone already has IECEx and national approvals (including MSHA in the USA), which enables it to be used in most underground mines worldwide.
