Anyone who works with electrical systems in potentially explosive areas cannot avoid the topic of explosion protection and the requirements for a "qualified person". The Haus der Technik (HDT) offers practice-oriented training in this area.
Target group:
It is aimed in particular at qualified electricians, technicians, operators, maintenance personnel and persons who are to be deployed as qualified persons in explosion protection in accordance with TRBS 1203.
Contents of the event:
- Legal basis and current regulations (e.g. BetrSichV, TRBS, ATEX directives)
- Requirements for electrical systems in hazardous areas
- Selection and testing of explosion-protected equipment
- Practical tips on installation, operation, maintenance and servicing
- Documentation and obligations to provide evidence
Goal:
Participants acquire the necessary specialist knowledge to be recognized as a "qualified person for explosion protection" and to carry out their tasks in a legally compliant and competent manner.
