ATEX Digital Camera – ARMADEX Ex-M OZC 2

The ARMADEX Ex-M OZC 2 is the only explosion-proof camera equipped with a 5x optical zoom function. This ATEX camera is suitable for use in ATEX Zone 2 (gas).

The compact but robust camera housing is drop-proof up to 2.1 m, frost-proof down to -10 degrees Celsius and dust-proof.
Please note that due to ATEX regulations, the xenon flash tube is disabled but the 6 LED ring light is functional.

The OZC 2 uses advanced Movie SR+ software to stabilise videos and images. This feature is particularly useful when conducting video inspections. Users can freely walk around the site and capture all equipment, machinery and environments without distortion or blur. This results in much sharper and more professional footage that the latest generation of smartphones cannot match.

The ARMADEX Ex-M OZC 2 weighs only 246 grams, including the battery.

The compact explosion-proof camera can withstand drops of up to 2.1 m, has an operating temperature between -10°C and +40°C, and is waterproof up to 25 m and dustproof.

Excellent performance in low light conditions

A camera's flash poses an ignition hazard and therefore does not comply with ATEX regulations. This creates a problem as there is no light source in some potential explosion areas. For example, confined spaces in factories / machine rooms or hazardous areas that are outdoors and rely on daylight as a light source.

The Ex-M OZC 2 is the only explosion-proof camera that solves this problem. The high sensitivity is achieved by the powerful image processing engine. In other words, the camera uses software to capture high-quality, bright images without the use of flash.

The 6 LED Ring Light captures details in 3D.
6 LED Ring Light

In addition to the software, the Armadex explosion-proof camera is equipped with a 6 LED Ring Light.

The 6 LED Ring Light is particularly suitable for examining small parts or damage in 3D manner, but can also be used to illuminate the scene as a flash would normally do.

For optimal illumination, users can switch individual LEDs on or off.
