The Panel PC is equipped as standard with the AMD T40E/2 x 1.0 GHz dual-core processor; 4 GB RAM. Using the Ethernet interface, individual computers or network devices such as a printer can be connected to an existing local area network (LAN) (optionally also via WLAN) or local networks can be set up completely wirelessly. Powerful visualization and operation of the processes directly on site are possible. The wired electrical connections are made via a terminal compartment with type of protection "e" (increased safety). The latest display technology ensures optimum contrast even with a large viewing angle. The front panel mounting allows easy installation. On request, the devices are also available as a complete system solution in a stainless steel housing for wall or floor mounting. An intrinsically safe USB interface for a USB Ex i memory stick is available. In addition, intrinsically safe input devices can be connected. Optionally, a touch screen (intrinsically safe) is available, offering the absolute maximum in operating comfort. Windows 7® Ultimate or Windows 7® Embedded MUI are available as possible operating systems. This means that the Panel PCs are open for many software packages, for example customer-specific software or other commercially available standard visualization software.
