The pendant luminaire type EVAC, designed for hazardous areas, zone 1,2 as well as 21 and 22, is characterised by its robust construction, a high IP degree of protection and a wide ambient temperature range. Especially because of this, this lamp is used in climatic regions where very rough environmental conditions prevail. Typical fields of application are offshore facilities for oil and gas production or in the industrial and chemical sector, but also wherever combustible dust can occur. The luminaire is designed in protection type "Ex d" and can be used with a wide range of lamps due to the different sizes. Due to the versatile use of high-pressure discharge lamps as well as conventional incandescent/ halogen or mixed light lamps, this luminaire offers the ideal solution for almost every application.

In the course of more efficient lighting technology, the EVAC luminaire series is also available with high-performance LED modules with a power consumption of up to max. 96W. These are ideal for replacing high-pressure lamps and keep costs low thanks to their low energy consumption and long service life. For electrical connection, the luminaire is equipped with one or two threaded holes 3/4 "NPT, depending on the version, to accept cable glands or dummy plugs, approved for explosion-proof areas. The pendant lamp type EVAC is suitable for wall/ceiling/pendant/ or pole mounting via a bracket. Various external reflectors as well as an additional protective cage are available as accessories.
